Facade art in the pedestrian precinct Wiesbaden

Dimensions: approx. 6000 x 6000 x 1800 mm (length x width x depth)
The sculpture consists of a steel construction of hollow sections with an outer and an inner sheet plate lining. The outer sheet plate lining was gold plated which requires a precise treatment of the sheet plates. The extensive different roundings of the design were a big challenge for the designer and our colleagues.

ShoppingCenter Wiesbaden

Footbridge between the Shopping Mall and the parking garage over an six-lane broad street at the city center of Wiesbaden.

Overall length: 41 m
Overall width: 18 m
Weight of Steel: 200 t

Speciality: only one Y-stake (see picture) was placed under the middlel of the bridge.
Own weight of this Y-stake: 15 tons
Due to fire prevention and statically aspects the Y-stake was filled with concrete.
